Open Doors Weekend Market at OC on 25/26 September 2010

Not long ago, I chanced upon a write-up about a woman who sets a personal goal to learn 3 new things every year. I found it very enriching and inspirational, and thought to myself, "why don’t I dedicate my stall to providing opportunities for people to learn something new?"
Thus the theme “Discovering the joys of learning something new” was born.

Enter 3 good friends who are experts in their chosen fields, passionate about what they do. They conduct successful hands-on workshops/classes. I had the privilege to promote their workshops at Open Doors. Those of you who missed us that weekend, do click on the links below to find out what these talented ladies have to offer:
Sugar Inc for hands-on baking workshops
Passion Crafts for decorative painting workshops
Scent of Garden for floral arrangement courses

Staying true to the theme of learning something new, we had DIY kits like macramé bracelets and teddy bear packs for sale. Its great for those who wish to create something in the comfort of their homes.
The teddy bear easy packs were a hit, and looking at them, you'll know why. Don't they look cute? Just remember you too, can make it yourself! They come in 3 sizes: 100mm, 150mm and 260mm, and will be available online from next week onwards.

Of course, our signature bag organizers made their usual appearance with our best-seller, the reversible, being sold out, once again.

I would like to say a warm 'thank-you' to our returning customers, Dorothy and Poh Kuan, for their wonderful support. Also to those who just got to know us. We hope to see you again soon.

I leave you with some photos taken at the weekend market. The really professional-looking ones were taken by Jinhao, my neighbour at Open Doors that weekend. Thanks, Jinhao!
